Cornelius Martens Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cornelius Martens of Rabbit Lake, Saskatchewan, who passed away on December 18, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Judith, Henry, Helen and Abe; his siblings-in-law, Sam, Art, Ervin, Claude, Gerry, Evelyn and Marie; and his parents, Abram Martens and Anna Hildebrand.

He is survived by: his wife Marlene Olga Heinrichs of Rabbit Lake; his children, Alan (Debbie Neudorf), Dave (Marlene Rens), Don (Vonda Plett), Ken (Joanne Toews) and Carrie (Barry Barkman); his siblings, John, Walter (Rosella), Peter (Terry), Anita and Hertha; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret, Linda and Betty Anne (Wayne). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
