He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Lessing and Arnilda Lessing (Keller); his siblings, Elli, Frieda and Leonardo; and his parents-in-law, Edmund Gust and Elfriede Gust.
He is survived by: his wife Martha; his sister Brunhilde Cordeiro (Claudino); his nieces, Liane and Maira; and his brother-in-law Kurt Kramer (Lia).
