He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Hanson. He is survived by: his children, Roger Hanson (Pat) of Hardy, SK, Don Hanson (Nancy) of Olds, AB, Janet Holmes (Marvin) of Minton, SK, Wendy Schopf (Kelvin) of Bengough, SK and Duane Hanson (Tracy) of Strasbourg, SK; his grandchildren, Blair (Melissa), Kristy, Ryan (Megan), Tara (Jody), Jenny (Herson), Nolan, Donalda (Alan), Brandy (Brody), Kayla, Colin, Marcy and Chris; his great grandchildren, Sloan, Harper, Damien, Chase, Miranda, Ella, Hannah, Braxton, Rhett, Hayes, Corbin, Emma, Dakota, Riley, Morgan, Logan, Emerson, Caleb, Cody and Cheyanne; his great great grandchildren, Lyla, Mya and Kinsley; his sister Ruth Nergard (Evan); and his sister-in-law Gloria Fister (Wayne). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Prairie Pride Centre Community Centre.
