He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert and Madeleine; and his brothers-in-law, George Hay and Lawrence Stengler. He is survived by : his wife Cecile; his children, Daniel Jr. of Radville, SK, Bradie, Davin and Kurtis Bourassa (Kristy) of Weyburn, SK; his grandchildren, Hudson, Mira and Madden; his son Douglas Bourassa (Sarah) of Assiniboia, SK; his grandchildren, Caden, Makara, Kole and Kyler; his daughter Diane Herriot (Devin) of Radville, SK; his grandchildren, Arson, Yael and Axson; his siblings, Richard Bourassa (Denise), Pete Bourassa (Joyce), Giselle Cherpin (Paul) and Sue Bourassa; and his siblings-in-law, Sylvia Englot (Tom), Rita Munn (Morley), Lucy Robbins (Gary), Pete Stengler (June) and Richard Stengler. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

“I had not seen Danny for 60 years but still remember what a really nice guy he was. His Mom and my Dad were siblings and Danny and I went to school together. I have fond memories of him and am sorry for his suffering. I will be praying for all his family at this difficult time. Sincerest and deepest sympathy”
