We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2022, at the age of 93, Elsie Alma Backlun (Radville, Saskatchewan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Lawrence Backlun; her siblings, Willy Frey, Ella Loyek (Harold) and Bertha Frey; and her son-in-law Robert Thue.
She is survived by : her children, Ruth Thue of Radville, SK, Orville Backlun (Pat) of Tisdale, SK, Bernice Backlun of Radville, SK and Linda Ochitwa (Kim) of Windthorst, SK; her great grandchild Del Thue (Charlene); her children, Dane (Jen Rohl) and Cayla Shelly (John); her great grandchild Lisa Thue; her children, Cash, Pistal Marks, James Backlun and Mindy Backlun (Ryan Goudy); her grandchildren, Casey, Austin and Paisley; her daughter Tanya Pohl (Scott); her grandchildren, Savannah Pohl (Dallin Chicoine) and Abby Pohl; her daughter Melissa Fradette; her grandchild Kennedy Cherpin; her child Lorranda Smelt (Alan); her grandchildren, Carter and Ayla; her daughter Tara Bateson (Sean); and her grandchildren, Ainsley and Aubrey. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
