Jean Grona Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Grona of Rama, Saskatchewan, who passed away on January 13, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dmetro and Anastasia; her husbands, Joseph Swiderski and Michael Grona; her son Eugene Swiderski; her grandsons, Curtis Swiderski and Kevin Swiderski; her siblings, John (Adeline), William (Helen), Fred, Mike, Annie Yawney (Steve), Katie Kresek (Bill), Dolly Doroshanko (Fred), Mary and Maggie Sokoloski (Ed); and her siblings-in-law, Ben Paslowski, Steven Grona and Stella Grona.

She is survived by: her children, Fred Swiderski (Verna), Dennis Swiderski, Myles Swiderski, Lillian Faure (Ken) and Dale Grona; her grandchildren, Shelley Burghardt (John), Trina Helberg (Derek), Shawn Faure, Trevor Faure and Janelle Butts (Rob); her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Ty, Desirae, Kole and Hayden; and her sister Nellie Pasloski. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
