Brendan Stonechild Obituary

The passing of Brendan Stonechild (Raymore, Saskatchewan) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 22, 2025 at the age of 43. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Kahnapace; his adoptive mother Gladys Stonechild; his siblings, Cheryle, Greg, Roddy, Dexter, Trudy and Ryan Sr.; his aunts and uncles, Vincent, Blaine, Evalynne and Clarice; and his grandparents, Connie Kahnapace and Clarence Bruce.

He is survived by: his close friend Alexandria Bye; his children, Feather and Otis Stonechild-Goforth; the mother of his children Sharla; his mother Sally Melanson (Kelly); his siblings, Donovan, Ronda, Debbie, Maggie, Monty, Kendra, Sonia, Randy (Brenda) and Geraldine Stonechild; his extended family, Robert, Farrah, Bert, Joseph and Sheldon; and his aunt Ina Kahnapace. He is also survived by his children, step-children and step-grandchildren.

A wake was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Okanese Learning Center. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
