He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Victor, Mary Starr, Robert and Alma Akapew; his father Willard Starr; his brother Allan Starr; his nephews, Jarryd Starr and Kilo Kinequon; his aunts and uncles, William Akapew, Robert Akapew, Kenny Akapew, Katherine Akapew, Shirley Akapew and Margaret Starblanket; his cousin Sydelle Akapew; his in-laws, Ernest and Marlene Tuckanow; his brother-in-law Michael Tuckanow; Everette Akapew.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn Tuckanow; his children, Brian, Cade and Jenna (Aaron); his grandchildren, Hazel, Nalayaih, Aries, Layla and Tavin; his siblings, Clayton, Warren, Claude, Ivan Severight, Dale Whitecap, Eunice and Sonya M. Starr; his nieces, Tara, Kelsey (Justin) and Jazlyn Starr; his uncle Sidney Akapew; Alana Starr Cappo (Tony).
A wake will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Okanese Learning Center, Okanese First Nation. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM.
