He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Assoon and Agnes J. Dustyhorn; his siblings, Shirley Assoon and Howard J. Dustyhorn; his niece Lorenda J. Assoon; and his grandparents, Bessie, Fred Poorman Sr., Mark and Margaret Assoon.
He is survived by: his siblings, Vivian (Harry), Gail, Shiela Bigsky (Ernest), Brian Dustyhorn (Lisa) and Garry Dustyhorn (Jenny); and his close friend Leland Severight. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
