He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Thomas, Lola Asham, Henry and Florestine Cyr; his parents, David Cyr and Gloria Cyr; his siblings, Patricia McNabb, Lyla Cyr and Dean Cyr; his son Wade Cyr; and his stepson Tyron McNabb.
He is survived by: his close friend Debra Thorn; his former wife Lorraine McNabb; his daughters, Tondra McNabb, Tiara McNabb and Tamara Cyr (Tammy); his stepson Ivan McNabb (Kojack); his brother Gary Cyr; his brothers-in-law, Delbert McNabb and Tom McNabb; and his sisters, Rena O'Brien (Terry), Darlene Daniels (Stanley), Nora Cyr, Wanda Cyr, Elenor Cyr, Marie Peigan and Ila Dubois. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, aunties, uncles, cousins, and many other relatives and friends.
