He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Kowetik and Angus Pikatcih; his stepfather Allen Starr; his grandparent Tinee Alexson; his parents, Fred Alexson and Marceline Alexson; his children, Joseph and Valjean; his sisters, Elaine, Mary, Colleen and Karen "Macky"; his mother-in-law Mary Fidler; and his sisters-in-law, Rose Fidler and Shirley Rigby.

He is survived by: his wife Marlene Alexson (Fidler); his children, Sheila Dustyhorn, Michelle Dustyhorn, Mandy Severight (Laurent), Candace and Louis Constant; his godchildren, Elicia and April Dawn; and his siblings, Marcy, Bev, Charlene, Sybil, Del (Dorothy) and Curtis. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends.
