He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence Strongarm and Theresa Strongarm; his siblings, Dorothy, Emily, Bertha, Mary and Fred Strongarm (Slim); his daughter Sherlyne; his granddaughter Ashley Strongarm; and his close friend Jarvis Littletent.

He is survived by : his wife Sharon; his children, Cheryl, Janet, Michael, Frances, Chantelle, Terri-Anne (Dustin) and Park (Strongarm); his brother Bill Strongarm (Colleen); his brothers-in-law, Donald Koochicum (Freda) and Bill Koochicum (Norma); and his son Braydence.
