He was predeceased by : his siblings, Joseph, Theresa Ann, Peter and Lawrence. He is survived by : his sisters, Gertie and Agnes; and his brother-in-law Ron Bourdois. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and one great-great nephew.

He was a volunteer at the Lebret Museum and the charity, Too Good to be Threw, also in Lebret.
