He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Bitternose and Hazel Bitternose; his siblings, Mary, Wellsley and Sidney; and his nephew Andrew.

He is survived by: his siblings, Harvey (Tammy), Ken (Carrie), Alice and Agnes; and his nieces and nephews, Samantha, Nowell, Shayla, Brandon, Lance, Valerie, Marlene, Jordan, Terrell, Heavenly, Addy, Timmy, Isaac, Kelsey, Clarissa, Cecelia, Victoria, Kendra and Adrian. He is also survived by grandnieces, grandnephews, family and friends.
