William Akapew Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 29, 2021, at the age of 86, William Akapew (Raymore, Saskatchewan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Sr. Akapew and Alma Akapew (Favel); his siblings, Cambell, Gilbert Swanson, Robert Akapew Jr., Hazel, Alice, Shirley, Catherine and Margaret; his wife Marlene (Kinequon); his children, William, Elizabeth (Rick), Jennifer (Tex), Darlene (Howard) and Christine (Clarence Jr.); his siblings, Kenneth, Sidney (Joanne), Elsie, Doris and Ruth; his sisters-in-law, Anne, Tina (Paddy) and Alita; his grandsons, Francis and Gilbert; his nephew Clayton "Jake" Akapew; his adoptive sons, Tory McGregor and Chad Crozier; and his goddaughter Crystal Poitras. He was also cherished by 10 grandsons, 13 granddaughters, 19 great-grandsons and 18 great-granddaughters.
