Gilbert Couture Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Gilbert Couture (Redvers, Saskatchewan) is shared. Gilbert, born on April 5, 1932, passed away on September 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Rollande (Mailhot); his wife Priscille; his grandson Jonathan; his siblings, Florence Sykora, Emile "Amos" Couture and Achilles "Archie" Couture; his siblings-in-law, Estelle Poirier, Carmen Couture, Lorrane Couture and Frank Sykora; Rosario, Marie Louise Poirier, Marie Anna Boutin (Lionel), Henri Poirier (Elaine), Gerard Poirier, Adrien Poirier and Marcel Poirier.

He is survived by: his son Laurent [Larry] (Loree); his granddaughter Chantel Couture; his great grandchild Jerrica; his grandsons, Rhett Couture (Saxon Kagume) and Ryland Couture (Kylie Bisson); his daughter Denise; his granddaughter Anna; his daughter Claudette Le Nouail (Daniel); his grandchildren, Antoine Le Nouail (Aerial) and Nathalie Le Nouail; his daughter Diane Kelly (David); his grandsons, Austin Kelly and Dillan Kelly (Courtney Cox); his great grandchildren, Matsen, Kendall and Jason Kelly; his daughter Coralie (Wayne); his granddaughters, Lorinda (Andrew) and Jaylene; his brothers, Henry Couture and Marcel Couture; his sisters-in-law, Anne Couture, Lucille Couture (Marcel) and Jeannette Poirier; Jean-Charles Poirier, Joseph Poirier (Irene), Anne Marie Moen (Larry) and Paul Poirier (Claudia). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A prayer will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Our Lady of Fatima R. C. Church (49 Broadway St, Redvers, SK S0C2H0). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
