She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Strickland and Gladys Strickland; her siblings, Ernest, Murray Strickland and Marie Strickland; and her husband Murray G. Carpenter.
She is survived by: her children, Lianne (Robert), Maureen (Shawn), Michael (Laurie) and Jeffrey (Joyce); her grandchildren, Christopher (Victoria), Matthew (Patricia), Naomi, Brandon (Kyla), Alex, Tiffany (Travis) and Travis (Michelle); her great grandchildren, Mason, MacKendra and Berlyn; her siblings, Brian (Ann), Bert Strickland (Mary) and Dorothy Barrass (Robert); and her siblings-in-law, Carole, Donna Strickland, Darlene Carpenter, Miles (Fern) and Terry Carpenter (Marie). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
