He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lipoth and Helen Lipoth (Kulcsar); and his siblings, James Lipoth, Imre Lipoth, Barbara Breit (Brad), Bernadette Hickie (John), Joseph Lipoth (Cecilia) and Ralph Lipoth (Anne).
He is survived by: his daughters, Sarah Lipoth and Becky Lipoth (Meagan Onstad); and his brother Alphonse Lipoth (Grace). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many other friends and family.
