He is survived by: his mother Donna; his daughters, Mandy Burton (Greg) and Lyndsay; his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Gwendolyn, Lochlan, Xander, Adayah, Callum, Tristan and Avery; his brothers, Gary (Doxsee) and Don; his nephew Daniel; and his great-nephew Dean.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Al's name to the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital.
