He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Willway of Andrew's United Church; his parents, Frederick Willway and Helen Willway; and his sister Joan Maynard. He is survived by: his daughters, Verone Charington (Barry) and Verity Willway (Roger Perzan); his grandchildren, Verenna Maduck (Ryan), Vanessa Bourlon (Ryan), Braden Charington, Brittany Ashburner (Kelly) and Layne Peterson (Natasia); and his great grandchildren, Madeleine, Charlotte, Raya, Owen, James, Julian and Millie. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
