He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stettner and Bertha Stettner (Southey); his wife Evelyn; his son Jacob; his grandsons, Chad and Wade; his daughter-in-law Linda; and his granddaughter Jennifer.

He is survived by: his children, Brenda, Bonnie Smith (Rick), Beverly Hood (Warren), Rick (Karen), Bernadette, Barry (Barb) and Bradley; his grandchildren, Chris (Vickey), Corrie, Craig Bliss (Delta), Gwen (Carl), Karla (Cody), Rick (Courtney), Stephanie (Corley), Trisha (Tyler), Devin (Kayla), Drew (Kayla), Regan, Justin (Kayla), Jaydan (John) and Audrena; his brother Bill (Liz); and his parent-in-law Jackie Stettner. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
