He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Molly" and Amelia "Molly"; and his siblings, John Fuchs and Mary Geiger (Warren). He is survived by: his wife Violet Exner Fuchs; his sister Alma Beingessner (Albert); and his sister-in-law Helen Fuchs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was devoted to his mother Molly and cared for her as best he could as she battled Alzheimer's. Donations in Alfred's memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
