She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Decap and Maria Decap; and her brother Gerard. She is survived by: her husband Gerard Verhelst; her siblings, George Decap, Madeleine Muloin and Julie Wilson; and her children, Dolores (Gerry Bissonnette), Irene (Dave Ehman), Judi (Craig Francis), Gilbert (Florence), Paul (Laurie), Roger (Brenda), Leo (Sandy), Frank (Elaine) and Mark (Gladys).
