He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Keewatin and Nora Keewatin; his siblings, Robert, Albert, Ron, Russell and Elsie Dustyhorn; his sister-in-law Kim Archibald; his niece Jean Starr; his nephew Joey Alexson; and his grandchildren, Praise Goforth and Jeremy Starr-Bellegarde.
He is survived by: his sisters, Edith Starr, Annette Regalado and Rosalie Schroeder; and his close friend Cory Noble. He is also survived by his many relatives, nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
