He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Redshaw and Eva Redshaw (McLaughlin); his brother Alvin; his siblings-in-law, Elsie Redshaw and Del Dube; his sister Mary; and his brother-in-law Ron Shorten.

He is survived by: his wife Myrna; his sister Frances Dube; his children, Jerry Redshaw, Donna Mitchell (Bill), Diana Redshaw, Lorraine Von-Hagen (Dale), Ronald Redshaw (Amber) and Robert Redshaw (Pamela); and his stepdaughters, Tara Rakai and Amanda Rakai. He is also survived by grand-children and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
