He was predeceased by: his daughter Brenda; his siblings, Sharon and Garry; and his parents, Thea and Sverre.
He is survived by: his wife Laura; his daughter Pam (Brian Sveinson); his son-in-law Bryan Merritt; his grandchildren, Chad Merritt, Alicia Ruiz (Ernie), Jill Sveinson (Jimmy Lindsay) and Katie Sveinson (Ryan Dejaegher); his great grandchildren, Juliette Lindsay, Lilou Lindsay, Cohen Ruiz and Logan Ruiz; and his siblings, Dennis (Karen) and Wanda (Ken Johnson).
