He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Papequash (Cuddo) and Marlene A. Quewezance; his stepfather John Quewezance; his son Tyler Papequashaunt; his uncles, Ross Strongquill and Eugene Strongquill; and his great-grandparent Thomas Strongquill.

He is survived by: his siblings, Corrine Strongquill (George), Beverly Severight (Eddie), Deanna Kahabaway (Allen), Donna Strongquill (Vernon), Kenward Strongquill, Kevin Strongquill and Flloyd Strongquill; his former wife Sheila Kahabaway; his children, Victoria Pierrot, Chelsea Papequash, Samantha Kahabaway, Lynette Kahabaway, Jeanette Kahabaway, Warren Kahabaway, Travis Kahabaway, Lawrence Jr. Strongquill, Derek Kahabaway and Erick Kahabaway; his siblings' children, Leslie Strongquill (Jacqueline Severight), Ryan Papequash and Floyd Papequash; and his uncles, Ted Strongquill (Geraldine) and Douglas Strongquill.
