He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Koncz; his parents, Kalman Koncz and Esther Koncz; his siblings, Helen Volman (Alex) and Joe Koncz; his brother-in-law George Szeles; his sister Ann Koncz; and his sister-in-law Maxine Samways.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathrine Verbeek (Mark); his grandchildren, Jordan, Lukas and Megyn; his sister Margaret Sentes (Francis) of Elizabeth Szeles; and his siblings-in-law, Ann Koncz, John Achtzener (Mona) and Ron Samways. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
