She was predeceased by: her husband J. W. Ford (Bill); her parents, Jack Thurgood and Annie Thurgood; her siblings, Elizabeth, Jim, Jean, Bill and Margaret; and her granddaughter Yvonne Kimberley Thomas.

She is survived by: her children, David, Marilyn Thomas (Cameron), Susan Plesniewicz (Leon), Robert and John (Pam); her grandchildren, Jordon, Amanda Kutz (Bill), Devlin (Emily), Logan, Kelsey Thompson, Ashley Thompson (Ty) and Jack; and her great grandchildren, Hayden and Kayla Kutz. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
