He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frei and Monica Frei. He is survived by: his son Devin Dunn; his wife Doris Frei; his children, Curtis Frei (Crystal), Darren Frei (Nina) and Carlene Horan (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Andrew Gagnon (Darian), Patrick Dunn, Damen, Caylee, Dillan, Cameron, Louisa, Stella, Julia, Penelope, Monica, Isabelle, Lola, Francis, Thomas Frei, Avery, Leah and Grace Horan; his great grandchild Willa; his brother Gerry Frei (Mariann); and his sister-in-law Virginia Frei.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Peace Parish (425 Broad St, Regina, SK S4R2X8).
