It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anton Peter Nickel of Regina, Saskatchewan, who passed away on March 13, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anton Peter Nickel to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Johann Nickel and Justina Nickel (Dyck); and his siblings, John Nickel, Jacob Nickel and Justine Nickel.

He is survived by: his wife Paulina Sarah Nickel (Wiebe); his children, Verone Solilo (Bruce), Sandra Reimer (Peter), JoAnn Richert (Colin), Valerie Wiebe (Doyle) and James Nickel (Heather); his grandchildren, Jonathan (Leslie), Christopher (Stacey), Laura (Kurtis), Maria (Derrick), Carly (Triston), Erin (Joe), Daniel, Sarah (Derek), Andrew (Virginia), Joshua (Lana), Jesse (Casey), David (Melissa), Kara (Jordan) and Jordan; and his sister Ann Giesbrecht. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
