He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred; his parents, Wilhelmina Hain and Henry Hain; his sisters, Evelyn Hollinger and Opal Dixon; his brothers-in-law, John G. Hollinger and Ken Dixon; and his nephew Mervin Hollinger.

He is survived by: his stepchildren, Judy Shorter (Jon), Larry Sohre (Marcia) and Vickie Phillips (Scott); and his nieces and nephews, Geraldine Ward (Robert), Donna Gordon (Jim), Ann Hollinger, Ken Hollinger (Sherry) and Randy Hollinger (Dorothy).

“Always interesting visiting Art. As we kept in touch a while after his cousins passing (that being my grandmother). Before he was living at the Renaissance i had made a few drives out that direction to visit familiy or a friend my grandmother knew or grew up with. Him and my grandmother had been in close contact most of their lives. And I periodically visited with Art when my grandmom had passed was not many mo. after neither I or the family really knew of his own passing.”

“Tried for a long will to see where Art had gone as my own family had wished to visit or say hello. I myself had missed popping in periodically to see Art. Quite likely my grandmom and art have had quite the visit in heaven as we may all look forward to seeing them once again.”
