She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Arnold of Regina; her children, John (Charity), Carla (Gary) of Toronto and Joy of Moose Jaw; her grandchildren, Troy of Moose Jaw and Stacy (Phil); her great grandchildren, Garrett, Katjana, Malcolm and Annika of Leduc; her parents, Edythe and Elmer; her siblings, Patrick and Laura of Saskatoon; and her aunt Bertha. She was also cherished by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and honorary grandchildren.

While there had been some signs of forgetfulness before the trauma of breaking her hip from a fall in February 2014, the injury seemed to fully initiate a journey with Alzheimer's Dementia.
