It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brian Melvyn Gilbert (Regina, Saskatchewan), who passed away on September 6, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his daughter Andrea; his wife Gwen Gilbert (Schulz); his children, Tammy Holmes (Darren), Kim Gilbert and Geoff (Shannon); his son-in-law Mick Parmar; his grandchildren, Jesse (Kelsey), Rebecca (Thomas), Camryn, Eden, Ajay and Sammy; his great grandchildren, Conor, Blake, Dez and Mia; and his brother Gary (Elanna). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended relatives and many friends.

A funeral mass was held on Friday, September 15th 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Resurrection Parish (3155 Windsor Park Rd, Regina, SK S4V3B1).

Brian volunteered for many years with the MS Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, and Diabetes Canada.
