He was predeceased by: his mother Martha Bodnar; his aunts, Alice, Margaret Ekelin (Wilbur) and Irene Spilchuk (Steve); his grandparents, Esther and Joseph Bodnar; his parents-in-law, Freda and Emil Schuhmacher; and his sister-in-law Adella Litzenberger (Edwin).
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Tammy Dorey (Mark), Lori Allard (Chris), Shawn Bodnar and Bonny Bodnar; his grandchildren, Eric Dorey, Karlee Dorey (Levi Berg), Devlin Allard, Sheldon Dorey and Connor Allard; his sister-in-law Anita Schuhmacher; and his cousins, Charles Bodnar and Esther Jesse. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
