She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Ottenbreit and Maureen Ottenbreit; her in-laws, Joe and Bunny Kot; and her grandchildren, Annabelle and Zachary Buchko.

She is survived by: her husband Gerry; her daughters, Jennifer Buchko (Jordan) and Erin Kot; her granddaughter Gabriella Buchko of Regina; her sisters, Sheila Ebbels (Bill) of New Jersey, Laura Friesen (Blaine) of Regina and Kerry Ottenbreit (Phil Symchych) of Regina; and her siblings-in-law, Joan Parker (Barrie) of Hawaii, Brian Kot (Jane) of Calgary, Nancy Kot (Robin) of Regina and Dave Kot (Tracy) of Kimberley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Colleen's name to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre or the Regina Mental Health Unit.
