She is survived by: her husband Edwin Greg Maindonald; her sons, Paul Maindonald (Pam Herbert Maindonald), Stephen Maindonald and Daniel Maindonald (Dana); her grandchildren, Saul Maindonald, Jessalyn Paradowski, Ty Maindonald, Isabelle Maindonald and Parker Maindonald; her sister Diane Barrera of Katy; her children, Peter, Lorena, Mark and Heather Shockey (Dale) of Vanscoy, SK; her grandsons, Caleb and Tom; her sister-in-law Tanya Collins; her nephew Alex; and her niece Lara of Ottawa, ON.

Colleen Isabelle Maindonald (née Collins) received her wings on Saturday, May 6, 2023 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease at the age of 71 years.
