He was predeceased by: his siblings, Muriel, Allan and Norman; and his brothers-in-law, Alan and Kon.

He is survived by: his wife Arlene; his son Alton (Sandra); his grandchildren, Evan (Payton) and Alix; his daughter Cheryl (Darren); his grandchildren, Sarah (Keith), Steffanie and Kristoffer (Kelsey); his great grandchildren, Emily and Abby; and his sisters-in-law, Hilda, Viola, Lorna and Gail. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
