He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marian Egger (Ralph) and William Birley (Lois); his wife Leona; his children, Dawn, Jodi, Nicole Carter (Stephen) and Justin Ames (Krista); his grandchildren, Javin, Jordan, Natalie and Ethan; and his brother Scott.
