He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Doig and Daisy Doig; his brother-in-law Russel Ward; Myrna Saunders. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl; his son Kevan (Kass); his stepsons, Scott (Carisa), Todd (Keely) and Chad (Brogan); his grandchildren, Karsen, Kali, Jadon, Ava, Nathan, Alexa, Karly and Kasha; and his sisters, Phyllis Wolf (Alvin), Bonnie Ward, Beverly Cossette (Eugene) and Susan Newsham (Dale). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, an intimate, private gathering will occur with a full celebration of life being held at a later date.
