He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine; his parents, John Kohne and Thelma Kohne; his brother Tony; his brothers-in-law, Norman Ogden (Clarice) and Walter Gargol; and his nephews, Randy Kohne, Kenny Kohne and Joe Gargol.

He is survived by: his sons, Murray, Donald and Greg (Linda); his siblings, Neil (Gaylene) and Arla Gargol; his sister-in-law Gwen; Karen Trott (Brad), Kevin Lakeman (Jane) and Jo-Anne Vogelsang (Dave).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dave may be made to Pasqua Hospital, Palliative Care Unit 3A, 4101 Dewdney Ave, Regina, SK.
