He was predeceased by: his daughter Danette Winkler; his parents, Theodore Winkler and Susan Winkler; and his siblings, Leonard Winkler (Maggie), Dave Winkler (Sophie), Walter Winkler (Viola), Freda Christink (Bill), Pauline Swatkoff (Joe) and Dorothy Sayler (Vern).
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Winkler (LeBrun); his children, Daemon Walker (Dana Winkler) and Darla Stroeder (Rod); his granddaughter Sarah Stroeder; and his sister Evelyn Plummer (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
