He was predeceased by: his parents, Wes Hanoski and Catherine Hanoski; his sisters, Dolores Rach and Joan Lia; and his siblings' children, Denise Rach and Randy Lia.

He is survived by: his sibling's children, Darryl Rach of Grande Prairie, AB, Michael Lia of Kenosha, WI and Desiree Veitenheimer of Regina, SK.
