He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe and Floss; and his siblings, Bob (Ida), Ken (Dorothy) and Ruth (John).

He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Sarah, Luke (Nancy) and Andy (Cynthia); and his grandchildren, Finley and Declan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
