It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doreen Bertha Gillies in Regina, Saskatchewan, who passed away on October 6, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Exelby and Nora Exelby of Craik, SK.; and her husband George Gillies. She is survived by: her sister Dorothy; her children, Georgina Hollebeke (Luc) of Red Deer, AB, Geoffrey Gillies (Tamara) of Tyvan, SK, Carolynn Westbroek (Hans) of Cairo, Egypt and Catherine Hoffart (Michael Gillies) of Calgary, AB; her grandchildren, Danielle Schultz (Jeff) of Spruce Grove, AB, Derek Hollebeke (Kav) of Calgary, AB, Devon Hollebeke of Sylvan Lake, AB, Genevieve Derban (Michael) of Calgary, AB, Tristan Westbroek of Calgary, AB, Avery Gillies of Regina, SK and Ayla Gillies of Regina, SK; and her great grandchildren, Larissa Schultz of Spruce Grove, AB, Nicholas Schultz of Spruce Grove, AB and Lana Hollebeke of Calgary, AB..
