She was predeceased by: her parents, Casper Hickie and Phyllis Hickie; her siblings, Martha Moke Puha and Ed Hickie; and her husband James Barton.
She is survived by: her sons, Edward Barton (Debbie), Dean Barton (Joan) and Timothy Barton (Yasuko); her grandchildren, Chantel (John), Tyler (Tessa), James (Gaby), Emily (Anthony), Kenta and Shun; and her great grandchildren, Clementine, Cormac and Wyatt. She is also survived by her many friends and relatives.
