She was predeceased by: her husband Barney Pinay; her children, Heather Daigneault and Lionel (Paddy); her parents, Olive Bellegarde and William Bellegarde; her grandchildren, Robyn, Jackie and Alicia; her siblings, Alma, Frieda, Shirley, Steve, Jimmy (Jan) and Tommy (Annie); her sons-in-law, Kevin Missens and Leon Montgrand; her parents-in-law, Prisque and Alice Pinay; and her siblings-in-law, Walter, Russel, Wayne, Elva and Muriel.

She is survived by: her children, Glenda Montgrand, Judy Pinay (Ray), Brenda Missens, Peggy Bellegarde and Shawn Bellegarde-Cote; her siblings, Anita Mcleod, Keith (Karen), Frances (Alfred), Jean and Terry; her siblings-in-law, Eric, Clarence (Rosabelle), Herb, Don and Gladys; and her adoptive children, Ron Crowe (Bev), Patty Stonechild, Sonia Desnomie, Denyse Swanson-Bellegarde, Norma Mclean, Ruth Whitehat (Miss Kitty), Mary-Anne Ketchemonia, Florence Allen, Jeff McDonald, Edward Bitternose, Nicole, Royce Cote, Trevlen Yuzicapi and Thomas Kequahtooway. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
