She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond; her son Laurie; her grandson Jeffrey; her parents, Thomas Blenkin and Janet Blenkin; her parents-in-law, Lorenz and Clara Schneider; her siblings, Marion, Alice, Laverna, Leslee, Brian and Cameron; and her brothers-in-law, Ken, Peter and Doug.

She is survived by: her son Darren (Alli); her grandchildren, Brenden and Zachary; her daughter Treena Thompson (Orland); her grandchildren, Brody (Brandy), Blake, Kaiden (Sean) and Josh (Gracie); her great grandchild Natasha Dales (Matthew); her siblings, Gladys, Tommy (Shirley), Ila, Betty, Joanne (Reid), Clifford, Larry (Kelly), Barry (Frankie) and Kelly (Don); her sister-in-law Valerie; her cousin Lois (Terry Warner); and also, Hailey, Tayden, Randy (Tyranni), Dominic, Lium, Ava, Isaac, Alyssa, Jeff, Ashley Hollick (Andrew) and Kianna. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Doris may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital.
