He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Nettie; his wife Violet; and his siblings, William, Jim, Betty and Evelyn.

He is survived by: his children, Dawn, Tracy and Blake (Delphine); and his granddaughters, Erin (Adam), Shauna (Kyle), Samantha (Brad) and Nadine (Tyler). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
