Edward John Ponace Obituary

We bid farewell to Edward John Ponace (Regina, Saskatchewan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 25, 2025 at the age of 64. Edward John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary-Alice Ponace and John Ponace; his siblings, Betty Ponace, Darleen Bunnie and Laurie Poness; and his nephew Clayton McNabb.

He is survived by: his wife Zena Ponace; his children, Ken, Kevin, Kristen and Kim (Brian); his grandchildren, Kaorie, Neko, Andraya (Dustin), Jayden, Alex, Kashis, Kataleya, Deja, Ciira, Dominic and Avianna; his great grandchildren, Kainen and Akoa; his sisters, Maxine Hall (Warren), Debra Ponace (Eli) and Edith Ponace; and his niece Keri Ponace-Seiben (Joe).

A wake was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Speers Family Centre (2333 Cornwall St, Regina, SK S4P2L4). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Speers Funeral Chapel (2136 College Ave, Regina, SK S4P1C5).
